Fastwalkers documentary In mainstream science Vall e is notable for co developing the first computerized mapping of Mars for NASA and for his work at SRI International in creating ARPANET a precursor to the modern Internet Vall e is also an important figure in the study of unidentified flying objects UFOs first noted for a defense of the scientific legitimacy of the extraterrestrial hypothesis and later for promoting the interdimensional hypothesis site_link Didn t really enjoy this book Written by a young physicist age 19 and thought it would be a good one But nope Fastwalker What a disappointment because I love Vallee s work Not good fiction Fastwalker I really like the author and I m happy to have finally gotten through this short book it packs a good punch It s really well balanced and there was a lot I liked and a few things I did not like I m not a big fan of short books or short stories but this topic captures the imagination so I think I m going to end up getting through several like this There s nothing new in this story but there s definitely a vivid sense of realism which clearly comes from the author s life experience Very cool Fastwalker A short but snappy scifi thriller novel Vallee uses some adventure fiction to outline his take on the UFOs namely that they are interdimensional rather than extraterrestrial and that the USA s and other governments are largely covering up the real causes of these phenomenon so as to plot deep state domination and some form of global government Not a poorly written book The prose is fine and the topical characters are sensible and distinct without being over the top or extravagant The audiobook version is not bad either Its one of those classic highly produced affairs replete with sound effects raspy emotive reading and instrumental transitions If you re a fan of Vallee s work this is a good one to read Fastwalker I know a bit about the author and believe this is written in half truths I like may are waiting for the truth Fastwalker
