Tales of the friendly forestj book
I found the stories refreshing with good lessons for children and reminders for adults The book can be broken up into sections for younger children and read independently by children eight and older Makes a nice bedtime story book for children who love animals English This was definitely one of the worst children books that I read since in a way it was somewhat contradictory And I definitely had to check the year that this book was published for it reminded me so much of some of the older books for children The stories and characters were flat while there wasn t much personality The author did also a job of trying to get his younger readers to assist in the naming of the creatures but you have to have some personality for a creature or a person before you can actually name them The other thing is the stories taught some good lessons but there were other lessons that were within its pages that I definitely like such as While children are small.
Tales of the friendly forestl review
Such cute fairy tales I ll definitely read these to my kids if when they come along English Tales of The Friendly Forest is a colorfully illustrated collection of fairy tales for children The book contains ten instructive fairy stories about the adventures of kind and funny inhabitants of the forest the traveling Hedgehog the hare Turbo the wolf Straight Tail and other great beasts These tales teach the children friendship humanity and respect to each other the ability to perceive everything in positive manner and create good mood Tales of The Friendly ForestA story book for children this work centres around the Friendly Forest with its inhabitants. Tales of the friendly forestl trailer The stories themselves are cute and with meaning the drawings are nice But I had some problems with the writing some sentences sounded wrong as if the editor didn t have a closer look at them Grammar was off words didn t fit the context and sentences sounded strange which lessened the reading experience I m no native speaker of English but I consider my English quite good so if I see those mistakes what will native speakers see Now and then those grammar mistakes made it sound as if the animals were acting against the rules they made for their forest And some of the concepts like adults not having any tears in them strike me rather stupid but that s for everyone s own liking English This kindle book is a collection of ten fairy tales told from the point of view of several animals living in the forest At the outset the reader is introduced to a poem that tells of the song of the forest The animals in the tales introduce themselves one verse at a time In the beginning the forest was in chaos Each of the animals went about doing whatever he wanted One day a clubfooted bear shouted out to the other animals of the forest from the top of a tree that from now on there would be a truce all animals would be friends to one another and there would be no territorial boundaries From that point on all the animals of the forest had their own names but they were all friends and helpers to each other. Tales of the friendly forestd review The rest of the stories focus on one or two animals who are able to teach the reader about compassion for others the need to share knowledge not to be afraid of the unknown and to be true to oneself In the story about fashion the animals decide to be fashion mongers Even though the boars delight in rolling around in the mud they then rub against the trees ridding themselves of all dirt The animals decide that boars are the neatest and cleanest animals in the forest Appearances can be deceiving In the story about the forest beasts watching children play hockey children learn that TV and cinema did not always exist there should be time for other pursuits. Tales of the friendly forestk book These short stories are intended for children and adults The format is a bit unusual in that the book begins with a poem and then switches to verse In a few places the flow is a bit choppy due to the translation Still there are no real reasons for them to feel sad Who can say that small children don t have real reasons to feel sad But then again this came from a part that said adults should be grown up enough that they can keep back their tears and only cry tears of joy or with their children Definitely not a book that I would pass on for children English Tales of The Friendly Forest by Alexei Lukshin features many short stories about the creatures who live in Friendly Forest There are a few pictures which are done really well The characters are fun and enjoyable and some of them remain un named the author would like anyone who has name suggestions to connect her Overall very well written stories and this book reminds me of classic animal fairy tales 2015 Summer Reading Review English English
