I received this book free in exchange for an honest review Or really because I loved the first one and begged the author to give me the second If Majra was a coming of age story this was a story about those characters coming into their own in the world that they re creating or trying to create. Book Song of sa'bahra Once again Simon has managed to spin a very rich eccentric but powerful tale about a rich eccentric powerful world It s a story about the power of words and the lack of power of words depending on the one using them Now as we re in the second book I fully knew what to expect in Simon s storytelling style and that didn t trip me up and I was able to flow easily into and through Songs of Sa bahr. Song of Sa'bahr kindle cloud It s as good if not better than the first A world where what is broken is beautiful where there is harmony in chaos and where truly living an ordered life comes from a disordered one That things are not black and white and that it s okay Although Salaal trying to come to terms with this is a little heartbreaking to watch They say that good fiction is what says something that truly speaks to the reader and Songs of Sa bahr did that for me Especially in the power of a mother s love for her son the way girls grow up and forge their own lives and that true love does not mean changing or breaking a person s spirit to conform to the lover but allowing that spirit to grow and thrive and be its own being That two beings can be joined and still be unique. Book Song of sa'bahra The story of the rich man s daughter wreathed in flames was very powerful about that and came very near to my heart As did this quote If his love is true Qaad will change Sayyad said complacently There were so many things wrong with that statement I blacked out for a while. Song of Sa'bahr books Overall this was a story about love but on so many levels The love of life the love of children the love of parents the love of lovers the love of truth the love of words the love of glory the love of culture the love of order the love of chaos the love of faith Again a very multi layered tale and a series that I don t think is getting nearly as much attention as it deserves 5 Fireballs ebook
