When I see the little girl standing in the hallway of the abandoned insane asylum it s through the viewfinder of my digital SLR camera Michelle Nelson is a photographer down on her luck After the finalization of her divorce she loses the company she helped build with her blood sweat and tears She finds solace documenting abandoned structures capturing the way that time has ravaged them When she encounters a little girl named Lily who claims to be an orphan she immediately feels a draw to help the child Michelle takes Lily to the police station and in a strange turn of events I am a fast reader though It s an original plot and seems to be very well thought out with great characters I m looking forward to from this author if she maintains this caliber of writing.
