However can pull you in and you find yourself wanting to know and hoping that the evil is destroyed But It all ways seems that evil wins the day If Geissinger put her mind to it and stop relying on the shock effect and define her storyline she would be a great author and storyteller Edited review 2 13 16After I decided it was unfair to write a review without finishing the story I was so very glad I continued to read Darkness Bound After I got over the caning of the heroine Jack and continued reading I now find at the completion of the story that I was wrong about the author not defining the lines between good and bad The story does do that and one enemy is destroyed The romance between Hawk and Jack was one of unconditional love The author goes even further to describe of the injustice of hating people or races and religions we don t know or understand I felt in awe how Ms Geissinger pulled together the first 4 books in the series into one magnificent bit of storytelling in bk5 Darkness Bound It took awhile but everything does come together I feel a bit ashamed for judging her so poorly I learned a good lesson Never review a book until you finish it Darkness Bound is one of the best written books I have read in a few years It hits on what s happening in this world of ours today I highly Recommend Darkness Bound and the other 4 books in the Night Prowler series English I wasn t sure if I d like Jack Jacqueline or Hawk Jack wrote an editorial arguing the Ikati are evil and need to be exterminated I didn t like Hawk at first either because of the whole blackmailing and kidnapping thing Nothing says you might change your mind if you really get to know us like blackmail and kidnapping Jack shows her strength and empathy Hawk shows his as well I was rooting for both of them individually and as a couple I was really enjoying this and thinking this would be a good 4 star read Then.

Darkness bound literature fiction pdf 5 Stars This one is my favorite so far I like that Jack was brought to the colony and most of the story was done there I still hate that the sadistic alpha s are still a thing in this book It does look like that might finally have gotten taken care of It should have been done sooner I loved the conclusion of Ceasar I had not guessed how they would take him out with his immortality but it was brilliant I m intrigued by how things are going to be handled in the last book especially how this one ended I m off to go read it English Do you love shifters DARKNESS BOUND is a fabulous paranormal romance with a new to me author.

Book Darkness bound The Ikati have been outed and the world is judging them on the behavior of the oh so crazed Ceasar They are convinced that the ikati must be eliminated wipe the species off the face of the earth So now along with a fanatically religious order that s sole purpose is to wipe out the evil that exists a secret organization that wants to capture and study them now the entire human race is after them Forced to leave their homes and settle into the only compound that is yet undiscovered Add to all that is a reporter with an attitude that has inflamed the massesJacqueline Jack Dolan has worked hard to get to the top Having been embedded with the troops all over the world she is hard hitting and tells it like it is Her entire adulthood has been built around showing how tough she is Hiding the void within When she writes an article on the evils of the Ikarti she starts the ball rolling They are evil and must be exterminated using Caesar s actions for her reference Yep destroy a people that have been around for millennia because one person claims to be king and is a certifiable wack job But Jack is among the self righteous and knows she is right Hawk Luna is the least son one of the few illegitimate children in the Ikati world he has forever remained on the outside It doesn t help that his father was a sadistic animal who beat his two oldest sons sending one to assassins school the one who should be Alpha and leaving his second son Hawk to the self entitled hands of the younger legitimate brother A sleazy indulgent self entitled leach Forbidden by Ikati laws to leave and live elsewhere he is stuck as the omega cat. Darkness bound literature fiction pdf The world building in this book is familiar and easy to follow Since I ve read similar themes like this one it is easy to pick up the story from any of the books What makes this book good for me is the character building Hawk and Jack are both damaged from their childhood It s hard pressed for some readers to pick which one is worse Personally I feel that Jack s childhood is the worst The trauma she experienced impacted her entire family and the repercussions were severe When Hawk and Jack open up to each other through their trials it is a beautiful thing to watch They both change for the better It s not ideal yet it s still a step closer to acceptance and understanding This is the message I applaud Ms Geissinger for slipping into her story It s pretty obvious she s hoping for a better world where there are no bigots and people work together for a better tomorrow She does it in a slightly heavy handed manner yet it s balanced well with the romance in this story.
